Time flies~ Its a gift for Val for her b’day~! A brand new car paint for the mini cooper which she did a couple of years ago.

What happen to your dreams lately?

Do you dream often? Once in awhile i might have some dreams, trying to tell me something, somehow. And yesterday night i have a dream, sadly its not on the good side.

I did a search for some clues what it might means on the internet and found out the answers which is quite closely tight to what im experiencing this couple of weeks. Actually, i gotten the similar type of dream just about a couple of weeks ago. So is twice now. More or less i think i got a grip of what it means but not really nail down the specific details.

Maybe i got to give it a try to change it. To be honest, im feeling drained from it. My mind is reminding me to do something about it. Curious to know where i get my answers from? Its here.

Isnt it time you stop Multi-Tasking?

I came across this interesting article about multi-tasking our life. Seems like it does more bad than good to your health.

I dont really multi-task but i work late.. i guess i have to take a break too. Leaving office at around 9-11pm daily doesnt seems to help me in my lifestyle and health, although it does gets things done much quicker..

Headphone render

A brand new Chinese New Year is coming! While still pondering about it, i spent some time and created a brand new headphone to learn more about render and shaders in maya. =D

Not really limiting the render, i just wanted to see how it turns out. Overall im quite happy with the result. =) I also added a wireframe pix if you are curious about it.

28/01/10 – Added a lime-green version with some 2d doodling.

Shelby GT500 re-light

Maybe its the new year bloodrush, i saw a tutorial rendering a car with the studio lights setting a couple of days ago and decided to give it a try with my Shelby GT500. Kinda miss my car. Maybe i should model the Shelby GT500 2010 series, when the time permits..

Movies to remember

Nice~ i believe everyone has their own favourite movies. Me too, =D But for today, i would want to share one of the genres that i like.

Romance, Comedy.
Surprise! Lol, well.. i understand it is not to everyone’s taste. So.. movies like My Sassy Girlfriend, Ghost of Girlfriend Past, 200 Pounds Beauty, Windstruck are in the list. Forgotten some of those movies by now… Do share with me if you have any nice movies which you know too =) Im a sucker for those good-o-comedy-romance movies. Btw, i like all of Stephen Chow’s movies. =D

While, there are of course other movies which i like alot: LOTR and Matrix trilogy, Narnia, Wolverine, Transformer, Ironman and Avatar, just to named a few which i will always remember as long as i live.

A peaceful christmas days

27 December, two days has passed. This night i listened to some soulful music by Olivia Ong. So glad to see her enjoying her life as it is.

For whatever the reason is, i know i have been holding back myself for a long.. long time. I still remember the last time my friends told me to open up, it was like 3 years ago? Easier said than done.. but i will keep trying.

Jon recently asked me, ‘What is money to you?’ I not sure how to answer him. But i know, it will be the ticket to get me around my life and i know, i will not live my life for it. It has never been the way of life for me. But at the same time, lots of things simply cant accomplish without the means of money. Stuck in between of balancing both.

I have decided the resolution for 2010. I want to live my life totally different from 2009. No restraint or whatsoever to prevent me from achieving my dreams. No matter how rich or poor you are, dreams are just dreams if you never try. There is already a list of things i want to do. Good luck to me:) and all the best to everyone out there~ Its never too late. May your dreams come true.

Access Machine

Lots of stuffs happen around me everyday lol. I guess i could really find ways to make my life more interesting.

Anyway back then, i was thinking how far can i push the limit of lowpoly game object with texturing? So i decided to test it out on  something really simply. I learned to appreciate those detailed lowpoly models even more now.. Sometimes it’s not as easy as it seems, when you are limited to only photoshop for texturing.

i model it in maya, export the uvs to photoshop for texturing and render out using the marmoset game engine. For more information abt the marmoset engine, could check out my previous post.

1967 Shelby Mustang

Finally…. my shelby is done~~! =D For my own personal practice, taken quite awhile doing all the modeling/texturing and rendering during and after work.

With some helpful comments from my colleagues, more or less im quite please with the overall result.  Now i will have a new subject to play with for test render next time round lol.
