Movies to remember

Nice~ i believe everyone has their own favourite movies. Me too, =D But for today, i would want to share one of the genres that i like.

Romance, Comedy.
Surprise! Lol, well.. i understand it is not to everyone’s taste. So.. movies like My Sassy Girlfriend, Ghost of Girlfriend Past, 200 Pounds Beauty, Windstruck are in the list. Forgotten some of those movies by now… Do share with me if you have any nice movies which you know too =) Im a sucker for those good-o-comedy-romance movies. Btw, i like all of Stephen Chow’s movies. =D

While, there are of course other movies which i like alot: LOTR and Matrix trilogy, Narnia, Wolverine, Transformer, Ironman and Avatar, just to named a few which i will always remember as long as i live.

  1. Haha. One of my favourite rom-com (romantic comedies) is 50 First Dates. Stranger Than Fiction and You’ve Got Mail are not bad too. There’s Something About Mary… funny but a bit crude. My Big Fat Greek Wedding. There’s an interesting French romantic movie with a thrilling twist called A la Folie Pas du Tout (He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not) u can try too.

      1. Roman Holiday’s another you might like. You might not like the ending though… And Children of Paradise is even less light-hearted, so you might or might not like it. Another is A Very Long Engagement: it has the same actress as Amelie but’s a touch more serious.

Oh, and Mozart and the Whale’s another you should like… and that’s all I can think of for now, haha.

  2. Hi there…stumbled across your blog and thought I’d drop a note. If you’re interested and/or curious, please check out my blog Above The Line: Practical Movie Reviews. I’d strongly suggest As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt, not to mention standout supporting roles by Cuba Gooding Jr. and Greg Kinear (remember him on Talk Soup?). This is a great film from a solid script and you probably wont find a better romantic comedy that doesn’t rely solely on a cast of beautiful people behaving unrealistically from a script of one-liners and sight gags. Cheers-

  3. Windstruck is a tearjerking movie. I wouldn’t say it’s better than My Sassy Girl since both movies deserve 5 stars but something about Windstruck is heart moving and you can easily relate to both characters.

  4. haha romantic comedies are always fun imo.
    they’re cute, and silly. =D

i’ve seen a lot of them, Two Weeks Notice I think is a great one. – Also, Hugh Grant’s best movie is About A Boy. I’d recommend it to anyone.

  5. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful blog. A fantastic read. I’ll certainly be back.
